Hard as it may be to believe, Tom Pritchard's put-back dunk may not be the most memorable slam of Indiana's season anymore.
In fact, it may not even be the Hoosiers' best slam of the week.
Challenging Pritchard for those honors is freshman guard Will Sheehey, who provided one of the better dunks of the season early in the second half of Indiana's 64-63 loss to Iowa on Saturday. Sheehey blows by his defender, drives straight down the lane and soars over Iowa's Melsahn Basabe for a vicious one-handed dunk that sent the Hoosiers crowd into a frenzy.
The dunk helped Indiana build momentum to take a 10-point lead late in the second half, but even that was not enough to prevent the Hoosiers from falling into a tie with Iowa for last place in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes closed the game on a 16-5 run, completing a season sweep of Indiana.
Don't blame Sheehey for the disappointing result. He had a season-high 12 points on Saturday and his dunk earned the No. 1 spot on SportsCenter's Top Plays.
