Morehead's State's improbable upset of Louisville in the first round of the NCAA tournament won't soon be forgotten — the Morehead athletic department has seen to that.
The school has put up six billboards across the state of Kentucky commemorating the win.
The slogan of "Much more than a game" signifies a momentary changing of the college basketball guard in the state (at least in the minds of Morehead State fans). It also shows that Morehead State is really going to live up the 62-61 win for as long as it can.
Can't blame Morehead State for the promotion. It's not every day that a small school gets to upset an in-state power in the NCAA tournament. Let the Eagles have their few months of fun.
